Remington’s Subsonic series 300 BLK ammunition is made for low-key cats like you. Designed in collaboration with AAC itself, this cartridge optimizes suppressor performance with the inertia of its truly massive 220 grain projectile. It will not issue out a sharp crack as it clears the muzzle, as it fails to reach a triple-digit muzzle velocity. And because the bullet’s velocity never transitions from supersonic to subsonic, it cannot undergo transonic destabilization and begin wobbling as a result!

The open tip flat base is an aerodynamic, rotationally stable and clean-shooting bullet – perfect for when you want great accuracy and as little fouling of the barrel and baffles as possible. The OTFB does not widen out upon striking a soft medium, however, which is why we cannot advise using it for hunting medium game.
