About This GGG Ammunition 308 / 7.62x51 Ammunition

That’s right, ladies and gentlemen: Lithuania. It’s where Giraitės Ginkluotės Gamykla has produced military-grade small arms ammo since the year 2000, and it’s where these 308 Win ball cartridges were recently manufactured.

This round’s 147 grain full metal jacket is nothing extravagant. Its core is made of lead with 2.5% antimony, and its jacket is made of standard CuZn10 brass. This is only to say that the FMJ will not attract a magnet. We’d also like to point out that a hit from any 308 Win cartridge is certain to prove devastating, although the FMJ’s inability to expand does make it the inferior choice for deer hunting.

GGG’s never-before-fired brass cases and modern Boxer primers make this ammo just as reloadable as it is 100% noncorrosive. This round’s 2,700 fps muzzle velocity was taken with a 22.36” long 1:12” twist test barrel.

    Never heard of this brand but it does not disappoint. Arrived to my door in 2 days .3 days if you include the day I actually ordered it. Brass is clean and I've sent 260 rounds down range at 350 yards. Good groups for a novice. A few mag dumps for fun and zero issues in ar10 platform. Will be buying again soon.
