About This Prvi Partizan 308 / 7.62x51 Ammunition

This .308 Winchester / 7.62 NATO ammo is an inexpensive but good quality target round for your M-14, FAL, AR-10, or other hunting or battle rifle. Made in Uzice, Serbia by Prvi Partizan, it uses 145 grain copper-jacketed bullets, non-corrosive Boxer primers, and reloadable brass cases. This case of 1,000 rounds comes packaged in 50 boxes of 20 rounds each.

The .308 Winchester cartridge (and its military equivalent, 7.62 NATO) is based on a shortened .30-06 Springfield case. Like the .30-06, it boasts excellent long-range accuracy and is very popular among hunters and long-range shooters around the world. Although partially superseded by 5.56 NATO with the adoption of the M-16, 7.62 NATO continues to see extensive military use today, most often by special forces operators, snipers, and machine gunners.
