These cartridges are assembled using reloadable brass cases and Boxer primers and then loaded with full metal jacket bullets. The fronts of these bullets are wider like a semi-wadcutter but with a more rounded tip. GECO has found that this shape reduces drag while offering more consistent accuracy and leaving clean, easily seen holes in paper and cardboard targets.

The 158 grain bullet is heavier than most others in this caliber and shares its weight with the long-revered .38 Special "FBI Load." This means that you can train with ammunition that is similar in recoil impulse and flight characteristic of the most effective .38 Special personal defense rounds. These bullets leave the muzzle of a 6 inch barrel at 968 feet per second with 321 foot-pounds of energy.
