Remington High Terminal Performance 38 Special +P ammunition could be used for taking smaller game, but it’s most frequently utilized for personal protection. This round is loaded with a 110 grain semi-jacketed hollow point bullet. It is designed to retain its weight following impact so it can reliably retain the momentum that leads to deeper penetration. It also features an unjacketed rim to ensure wider terminal expansion over longer distances.

Remington outfits their HTP loads with nickel-plated brass cases. The thin layer of nickel naturally protects brass against becoming corroded, and also reduces friction to allow smoother feeding and extraction from a chamber. Remington’s Kleanbore primers are as dependable as they are noncorrosive.
