This 380 ACP cartridge is a Golden Saber. We do not advise using an actual golden saber for defense unless you’re a bodyguard in the employ of the House of Saud. We do advise using this bonded jacketed hollow point ammunition by Remington if you carry a pistol to keep yourself safe, however.

This round is built for reliability. Its nickel plated casing not only provides low friction feeding and extraction in a semi-automatic weapon, but alongside its sealed mouth and primer does much to protect against the elements. Remington cleverly formulated this round’s propellant to emit very little muzzle flash, perfect for when you wouldn’t like to be blinded by your first trigger pull in a dim environment.

The bullet is always the star of the show, of course, and a Golden Saber’s is worthy of acclaim. This round’s projectile is jacketed with hard brass, making it far better able to penetrate tougher barriers and retain weight during penetration. That the rim of its nose cavity is spiral cut further enables it to expand with greater reliability, even at the lower velocities that a smaller EDC is likely to deliver.
