Lead has a density of 11 g/cc. Copper, on the other hand, has a density of 9 g/cc. That’s why this round’s solid copper bullet weighs a mere 77 grains. Its 1,115 fps muzzle velocity out of a 6” barrel will still provide adequate stopping power for personal protection, but it will also produce noticeably lighter recoil as well!

Copper boasts superior malleability and ductility. These properties are why the solid copper hollow point so reliably passes through barriers without shedding a significant portion of its weight. And before the bullet comes to a full stop within soft tissue, it will have erected five highly injurious rectangular petals.
