This round is an especially good choice if you would like to use your 44 Mag revolver for self-defense without enduring as much recoil.This round features its manufacturer’s 165 grain FTX bullet. It’s a jacketed hollow point, yet the flat-tipped plug of polymer that sits in its nose cavity helps to keep the bullet from jamming up with cloth during penetration. As the FTX is met with pressure, its soft polymer tip wedges itself deep into its core to catalyze reliable and uniform expansion.
