Even though its muzzle velocity out of a 5” barrel is relatively fast at 970 fps, this round’s lightweight bullet only creates about 89% as much recoil energy compared to a standard 230 grain load. It’s not a night and day difference, although you may just notice that this round produces less of the muzzle rise which complicates accurate rapid fire.
