This 45 ACP +P cartridge’s defining feature is its 185 grain hollow point projectile’s brass jacket. Such superior hardness not only improves accuracy by preventing deformation in the barrel, but further ensures that the bullet can penetrate deeply before its hollow point takes over. The bullet’s nose cavity is wide, and sports spiral pattern serrations that promote wide expansion even at relatively lower impact velocities. Superior weight retention further guarantees the kind of wound channel which would neutralize even a tenacious threat quickly.

A Golden Saber cartridge has a panoply of features to support so hardworking a projectile’s performance. Its Boxer primer ignites cleanly, as does its propellant -- that the latter produces only a subtle flash during ignition is ideal for firing accurately in the dark.
