45 COLT HORNADY CRITICAL DEFENSE FTX 185 GRAIN JHP (20 ROUNDS)

Hornady's Critical Defense ammunition in .45 Colt is a potent option for a variety of firearms ranging from the classic Colt SAA to the Taurus Judge. Each cartridge in this box of 20 fires a 185 grain version of Hornady's FTX jacketed hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 920 feet per second.

The FTX hollow point is one of Hornady's newer offerings and features a soft polymer insert that protects the round's self-defense potential by keeping debris (such as an attacker's clothing) from obstructing the expansion cavity.

These cartridges feature non-corrosive Boxer primers and nickel-plated brass cases that provide extra durability.
