This round’s steel shell casing keeps its price tag nice and low. It sports a thin coating of polymer to reduce the kind of metal-on-metal contact that can cause feeding and extraction issues in a semi-auto (or full auto if you’re lucky). Unlike earlier lacquer applications, Wolf’s high tech polymer doesn’t melt off during ignition to needlessly foul up a rifle’s action!

This round’s 55 grain bullet is a hollow point, although it’s not designed to expand quite so dramatically as a pistol’s HP bullet would have. That’s not to suggest anything that comes out of an AK-74 isn’t going to leave a mark, of course.
