About This Winchester 5.56x45mm Ammunition

Some say an army of horsemen,
some of footsoldiers, some of ships,
is the fairest thing on the black earth,
but I say it is what one loves.
– Sappho

We don’t sell ships and armies of horsemen here. That’s because we’re the Ammo Man – not the Ships Man or the Armies of Horsemen Man. But if you love blasting targets with your sweet AR-15, then we’ve got some of the finest American-made 5.56x45 for the job!

This cartridge’s full metal jacket is the simplest type of bullet you should run through a semi-automatic centerfire rifle. Its lead core and copper-alloy jacket make its design just as economical as it is nonmagnetic. The flat base bullet’s 3,270 fps muzzle velocity grants it a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.271. In more practical terms, you can expect 7” drop at 300 yards after taking aim at 200 yards.

This ammo’s military grade cases are brass, new and reloadable. Take note that the cases aren’t discolored because they were previously fired and reloaded. The heat-treatment process which makes a brass case more robust also darkens the area immediately surrounding its neck. Noncorrosive Boxer-primed!
