This ammo is just the opposite, in fact: fundamentally identical to the stuff the U.S. Army issues for everyday field use, and by far the most popular choice for target shooting. Got an AR? ZSR arms these range loads with 55 grain full metal jacket projectiles. The FMJ is nothing more than a lead core with a tombac (i.e. 90% copper, 10% zinc) jacket. It will not attract a magnet. It will also not expand if it buries itself inside soft tissue, which makes it a less than ideal (albeit still plenty effective) tool for personal protection.
