This cartridge is loaded with a 131 grain example of the classic soft point bullet. It hasn’t got a hollow point nose cavity or polymer tip, but the bullet still manages to produce wide terminal expansion thanks to its partial jacket which leaves its malleable lead core bare at the tip. The SP’s jacket also fortifies the bullet to ensure penetration deep enough to access a medium-size critter’s boiler room. One shot between the ribs and your only remaining problem will be hauling that beast back to your truck.
