It’d make a poor choice for hunting medium game given its inability to deliver terminal expansion following impact, but its rotationally stable form-fitted lead core, uniformly thick copper-alloy jacket and ballistically efficient boat tail base all give the HPBT the flat and predictable trajectory you want for long-distance target shooting.
