This 7.62x54R ammunition is a great choice for VEPRs, PSLs, Mosins, and other rifles firing this venerable cartridge. Manufactured in Russia and imported by Wolf, this ammunition fires a 200 grain soft point bullet suitable for both target shooting and hunting.

The soft point expands quickly for a clean kill on deer or other midsize game, but does not produce excess fragmentation and meat damage.

Introduced in 1891, the 7.62x54R is one of the oldest military rifle cartridges still in use. Although superseded in Russian service by the 7.62x39 and then the 5.45x39 for infantry rifles, the more powerful 7.62x54R continues to be used in the Dragunov sniper rifle and the PK machine gun, among others.
