This 9mm cartridge has its caliber’s popular flyweight 115 grain projectile. Your pistol will benefit from such a round’s 1,180 fps muzzle velocity and ensuing flat trajectory, making this a satisfying solution for accurate target practice. As a full metal jacket, this round’s bullet is the most basic you’ll find on a semi-auto pistol cartridge. Its dense, balanced lead core and hard, concentric copper jacket deliver reliable feeding, promote a cleaner bore, and create good rotational stability in flight. What an FMJ won’t do is expand as it excavates a wound channel in soft tissue, suiting it better for recreational shooting than personal protection.
