This is a true target shooter’s cartridge, so it doesn’t need a more complicated bullet than the good old full metal jacket. That’s a solid lead core with round nose profile gilding metal jacket, which together are capable of neither terminal expansion nor attracting a magnet. The 115 grain bullet is light enough to ensure consistent supersonic muzzle velocity and hard enough to avert jam-inducing deformation.

This ammo is brass-cased, non-corrosive and reloadable, recently manufactured in Idaho and packaged in bulk: All the bullets lie together in a big plastic bag inside one big cardboard box. Independence is a lesser known brand, although this 9mm is in fact loaded at the same factory where Speer produces ammo.
