This is not 9mm ammunition. It will not work in 9mm firearms. 9mm Makarov (aka 9x18 Makarov) is only suitable for pistols like the Makarov PM, Kevin ZP98, ČZ vz. 82 or P-83.

Mesko doesn’t deal in steel components. These rounds’ 93 grain FMJ projectiles feature lead-antimony cores and brass jackets, neither of which is capable of attracting a magnet. The bullets’ round nose profiles and hard jackets make them easy for a semi-auto pistol or machine gun to feed, but also incapable of delivering terminal expansion.

This ammo offers clean and reliable functionality courtesy of its new brass cases. But you shouldn’t plan on handloading it – Mesko’s non-corrosive Berdan primers mean these cases have twin flash holes and are accordingly incompatible with Boxer primers.
