Black Hills loaded this cartridge with a uniquely shaped 100 grain solid copper bullet. The HoneyBadger’s tip resembles that of a Phillps head screwdriver. Its nose profile enables the HoneyBadger to penetrate light barriers efficiently. It is also why the bullet is able to channel any soft tissue it encounters inward and then outward, thus inflicting a cripplingly wide permanent wound cavity.

The HoneyBadger’s terminal ballistics include extremely reliable penetration: not too shallow, because the tough monolithic projectile does not shed weight and momentum during impact, but not too deep either thanks to the absence of a nose cavity that could have become obstructed with debris like clothing and sheetrock.
