About This Tula Cartridge Works 223 Remington Ammunition
This .223 Remington ammunition from Tula delivers plenty of trigger time at a nearly unbeatable cost. Each volume priced case of 1,000, fires a 55 grain bimetal jacketed bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,240 feet per second, producing similar ballistics to M193 ball ammo at a much lower price.Tula ammunition is made in Russia using non-corrosive Berdan primers and non-reloadable steel cases. To ensure reliable cycling, the cases have a polymer coating that reduces friction.
This ammo has steel components and may not be suitable for all indoor ranges due to its magnetic properties.

Posted onI experienced improved accuracy with the zinc coated. No separate jacket to be out of balance or shape. I buy all my ammo by tul now. 762-54, 556, 223, and whatever else I may need if they make it.

Posted onBought these and when I got to the range the silver (zinc) metallic look is actually 100% solid steel. We pulled a bullet and cut it in half. Solid stainless steel slug, 55gr, magnetic, and punches 1/4" plate steel like butter. Most definitely NOT zinc.
That said very reliable, accurate as anything short of pricey LEO or match stuff, and not very dirty to shoot. Shooting a built M4, 16" 1:7, mostly PSA/magpul. Fair warning, this is very good budget ammo but it can easily damage indoor range or other materials. Also not sure of the legal ramifications depending on your local ordinances regarding projectiles of this nature. -

Rounds longer then most

Posted onThe only issue I had was the rounds are a little longer then my other rounds by a 1/8 of a inch which makes loading ammo clip by hand. I have a Bucks Ammo Ram which is great when loading a 30 rd clip with a stripper clip can not use with stripper clip .

Posted onAbout a week or so ago I placed my first order from ammo man. My package came fast. Tula must have had a small problem at the factory because my case Packed at Tula arrived 20 rounds short. I sent the website a heads up in case it was a problem that might reoccur. I didn't ask for them to even rectify this issue. But they sent me 20 rounds to correct the problem. I will be ordering from AmmoMan again.

Posted onI always read the reviews about a product before buy it, I seen everyone talking about great ammo and how quick the order arrived. Well I ordered a 1000 rounds Wednesday night around 11 pm and the FedEx truck set my ammo on my porch at 9 am on Friday morning. Now that was fast. and I will be buying from Ammoman again. =)

Posted onAbout every 4 th or 5 th round did not fire. Inspection revealed primers were set way below lip of case. Last of this stuff for me, but it will be around awhile. I bought 2000 rounds of it

Posted onI've always used tula and i dont mind using the dirty ammo since i clean out my gun after every use. But these have weak casings both my eagle arms ar15s were ripping the rims off the cartridges and jamming into the chamber. Id recommend spending a little more and not going with these. First time problem with tula. But this is my first time shooting the tula with silver projectiles

Posted onPurchased the TulAmmo to use at the range in my S&W AR15 Sport. The ammo fed, fired and was quite accurate. This ammo is an excellent buy for the money. I'm certainly going to be buying more to use in my AR. If you want inexpensive quality rounds to use at the range or whatever this is a good buy. Two thumbs up!!
