Posted onFMJ is not everyone's choice. Range rockets are range rockets in my experience. Using expensive ammo to site in or roll rounds through a new weapon is far too costly these days. FMJ makes for good practice in becoming familiar with a weapons quirks, limitations and disassembling and cleaning your weapon.
Beware some ranges will not allow FMJ. They are interested in mass clean up and brass only. Never understood any man who would buy expensive ammo, fire it off and leave the most expensive part for someone else to cash in on. BTW I reload as well. -

Posted onI was surprised at how well my JLD PTR91 ate this stuff up. Shoots clean and I had no issues whatsoever with the ammo. Worked just as well as the VERY expensive American brand I spent a fortune for. Burns clean and is very consistent. Dial it in for its bullet weight and with a halfway decent scope (mine is on the lower end of that border), you can easily get 1"-1.5" groups. DOES NOT BURN DIRTY.......no more cleanup than the Federal I paid a small fortune for created and it was just as consistently loaded from round to round. Best buy on this site!!!!
