This round’s 130 grain full metal jacket? It doesn’t do anything fancy! Its plated copper jacket and solid lead core promote smooth feeding and reduce barrel fouling, and they contain zero steel (or any other metals that react to magnetism). The only precaution with a plated FMJ is its relatively fragile jacket, which isn’t capable of safe passage through a ported barrel or comp (a port can shave a slice off a plated jacket and deflect it back at you, which is an experience that contains zero fun).
