40 S&W PMC BATTLE PACKS 165 GRAIN FMJ (900 ROUNDS)
Prepping for an emergency doesn’t necessarily mean building a bunker that could fit an Olympic size hockey rink. But it does mean keeping your ammo safe and dry, which is why PMC’s battle packs are so neat. This boxed 40 S&W ammo comes packaged in hermetically sealed plastic sleeves, so you can trust it to remain operable under a wide range of storage conditions. You’ll probably want to open such useful range ammo right away, though. PMC exclusively loads nonmagnetic handgun projectiles, so you can fire this ammo’s 165 grain FMJ bullets at all commercial ranges.
The bullet’s nose profile is flat instead of round, which gives it a couple of interesting advantages. It’s poised to cut a cleaner hole through paper, which makes reading your shot placement easier at the range. It’s also going to gouge a more injurious hole into soft tissue than a round nose bullet could have. Although the FMJ should never be your first choice of bullet for personal protection, its flat nose bullets do make this particular ammo just a little more suitable for prepping.
PMC’s most important job is producing ammo for the South Korean military. But they also like making money, which is why they sell their brass-cased, Boxer-primed, reloadable and non-corrosive ammo here in America as well.
