This Remington Range 40 S&W round’s 180 grain full metal jacket projectile has a plated jacket. If a port manages to slice a little piece of that thin jacket off, then it may bounce it back at the shooter. If that shooter happens to be you, then you’ll be justifiably nonplussed about the experience.
But if you don’t got no ports, then you won’t have no problem with Remington Range! This ammo’s target-grade components include nonmagnetic 180 grain bullets, which are charged up to take 985 fps (i.e. subsonic) flight out of a 4” barrel, and which ought to chamber real dependably into any semi-automatic. Those FMJs’ passage is even more reliable thanks to Remington’s uniform brass (reloadable), temperature-stable propellant, and trusty Kleanbore primers.
