This is proper ball ammunition, loaded with 230 grain full metal jacket projectiles. Federal doesn’t cheapen their FMJ by sneaking any steel into its jacket, so you can trust this ammo not to attract a magnet. The bullet’s round nose profile prohibits terminal expansion, but also makes its design more economical – ideal for high-volume training or plinking. Once the round clears a 5” barrel at a rate of 830 fps, it’s due to reach 100 yards at a velocity of 824 fps.

Federal gives each one of these rounds its own noncorrosive Boxer primer and payload of low-residue powder.
