Some people say that education is the great equalizer, while others contend it’s capitalism. We say that firearms are the real great equalizer -- nothing else in the world can put a great grandmother on the same footing as a heavyweight boxer in quite the same way that a M1911 can.

Of course, without access to cost-effective ammunition, a gun isn’t equalizing anything. That’s why we’re proud to offer these 45 ACP cartridges from Wolf’s Military Classic line of ammunition. Their great affordability is owed in large part to their steel casings. Although not reloadable, these cartridges do have a nice coating of polymer to help with feeding and ejection in semi-automatic weapons, and their non-corrosive Berdan primers are easy on your pistol’s action and give them a great shelf life.

These rounds feature 230 grain projectiles. The bullets’ full metal jackets suit them perfectly for high volume shooting, as they’ll spare your bore from accuracy deteriorating rapid bore fouling. Their jackets make them less than ideal for self-defense, as they make them prone to over-penetration, but for practice and training they’re great!
