About This Hornady 5.56x45mm Ammunition
A little bird just landed on your pal the Ammo Man’s shoulder and told me something interesting. It said “CHIRP-CHIRP-CHIRP-CHIRP-TWEEDLE-DEE-DEE,” which I have interpreted as meaning that you don’t own enough 5.56x45 target ammunition. Thank you, bird, for bringing that to my attention, because I have the perfect solution in my big, beautiful warehouse!Two words: Hornady Frontier. This ammo is made by one of America’s greatest ammo makers, but it’s not full of technologically advanced components like Hornady’s ammo usually is. You’re looking at traditional M193 spec cartridges, loaded with simple (nonmagnetic) 55 grain full metal jackets, new and reloadable brass cases, and Boxer primers that are patently incapable of corroding steel.
The little bird told me something else of particular note: “PEEPY-PEEPY-PEEPITY-PEEPY,” which means that this ammo is packaged in a convenient plastic field box. This is very observant of the bird. It’s a good bird!
