5.56X45 HORNADY FRONTIER 55 GRAIN FMJ M193 (20 ROUNDS)

Hornady’s Frontier line of ammunition represents an exciting team up between two of the biggest players in the ammunition business: Hornady and the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. Hornady gave this M193 round its 55 grain projectile, and spared none of their characteristic attention to detail in doing so. Each of these 20 rounds’ bullets have concentric jackets, uniform cores, and essentially identical weights to one another, and thus offer the precision that tight groupings can’t be created without. They also inspected each of these rounds inside and out, and their inspectors have little tolerance for any deviation from the one true path to quality.

This round was manufactured at Lake City, whose gargantuan output capacity translates to a better price tag without sacrificing performance. The round’s new casing is properly annealed at the neck and shoulder to guarantee its long term reloadibility, and its primer is in every way as sensitive as a U.S. Army load’s should be.
