This 5.56 cartridge has the classic weight 55 grain bullet, with a gilding metal jacket that contains only two metals: lead and copper. There is no steel in this round’s bullet, so it complies with the rules of indoor ranges that prohibit magnetic ammunition. This round’s bullet will take off at 3,250 fps to deliver a flat trajectory that terminates in crushing energy far downrange.
Many shooters avoid firing Wolf’s ammo in an AR-15 because the company’s usual steel cases accelerate fouling in the action. But that’s not the case with Wolf Gold, which features newly minted brass cases. That makes this ammo a future investment to enjoy at your reloading press as well. This ammo is Boxer primed and loaded with uniform charges of clean burning propellant.

Posted onCan you shoot a hair off a gnats ***? Absolutely! You can shoot a gnat over 1,000 yards away with this ammo repeatedly. In all honesty, this ammo is as accurate as anything I've shot. I use this ammo to sight in any new rifle. I love purchasing through ammoman - - this is an awesome company and you can trust they'll be here for future purchases.

Posted onThe ammo arrived quickly and undamaged. I had gotten a case before and this Taiwanese M193-like load is as accurate as I am and more reliable. So this time got two cases. I don’t buy ammo often enough but I highly recommend Ammoman to all of my shooter friends for reasonably priced, good ammo, reliable shipping, and the fact that if there is a problem they will address it. 5 stars.

Posted onBeing made in Taiwan this ammo company should be heavily invested in as they are going to see sales skyrocket. I have been a long time fan of regular ole steel cased Wolf but this stuff shoots much better groups at least in my FN and is easier on the bore than bi metal former com bloc ammo. MUCH better ammo than Winchester white box as well as many other American made practice grades. Great product, good price it appears and Ammoman always delivers quickly and with great packaging.

Posted onSo far I've only been through 100 rounds of this ammo, but it feeds and shoots reliably. I've tried this in a few different ARs and it easily holds a 3" group at 100 yards off a bench with a red dot. It's certainly not match grade, but it's definitely self-defense grade.
