This cartridge’s bullet features a solid lead core, solid brass jacket, sharp nose profile and slightly tapered boat tail base. Sellier & Bellot recorded its 2,658 fps muzzle velocity with a 21.75” test barrel. At that rate the bullet exhibits a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.491 (G7 0.247). Expect your trajectory to rise by about 7.67” when you’re shooting to 300 yards, but a bullet that stays supersonic past 1,000 yards will make even the long-distance maniacs happy at the range.
