This round’s 122 grain FMJ has a lead core and copper jacket, with no steel that could set off a magnet. It’s compliant at ranges which ban magnetic ammo (even though its steel cases will attract a magnet). Aside from being nonmagnetic, this round’s bullet is pretty much your standard FMJ that will provide smooth feeding, reduced barrel fouling and good accuracy.
Wolf’s solid steel cases are coated in a thin film of polymer. It helps reduce friction that could cause issues during feeding and extraction, and it’s heat-resistant to prevent unnecessary fouling in your rifle. Wolf’s Berdan primers are exclusively non-corrosive, but handloaders, take note: this ammo is not suitable for reloading!
