About This Tula Cartridge Works 9x18 Makarov AmmunitionWhy settle for a drop in the bucket when you fill up your whole well with this 1000-round bulk case of 9x18mm Makarov ammunition. These cartridges were manufactured at the Tula plant in Russia, a 300+-year-old institution with plenty of know-how when it comes to quality control in high volumes. As such, this ammo is supported by a vast array of manufacturing knowledge which assures reliable function and helps to lower prices by smart material selection. This includes inexpensive non-reloadable steel casings that are fitted with non-corrosive Berdan primers for dependable ignition.
Each casing is filled with clean-burning propellant and topped off with an FMJ (full metal jacket) or "ball" round which weighs in at 92 grains, a rating that is very close to surplus military loads as well as modern self-defense options in the 9x18mm caliber. The FMJ projectile glides smoothly up feed ramps and is ideal for punching holes in paper or cardboard targets as well as for eliciting a satisfying "ping" from steel plates and poppers. Since Tula has excellent experience making ammunition for long periods of storage, you can also count on this 1000-round case of ammo as a piece of your own emergency provisions.
