About This Federal 12 Gauge Ammunition

If you think that double-aught hasn’t got enough aughts, then have we ever got the buckshot for you. This 12 Gauge shell from Federal’s Power-Shok line of ammunition is loaded with eight pellets of triple-aught for your hunting pleasure.

At .36” in diameter, this shell’s 000 buckshot pellets create wide wound channels and attain added momentum that facilitates deeper penetration. A single pellet of triple-aught carries 265 ft lbs of energy with it upon exiting the muzzle at 1,325 fps. That’s about 20 percent more power than 00 buck at the same speed!

This shell’s shot groups tightly at long range Federal’s granulated plastic buffering material absorbs some impact energy during ignition to help prevent shot deformation, and their Triple Plus wad system only further improves shot alignment.

Federal’s hard lead buckshot achieves its ferocious muzzle velocity thanks to specially formulated clean burning propellant, which itself is ignited by a non-corrosive primer. This shell’s hull and head stand up to mighty chamber pressures, so they’ll survive a hunt through the rugged brush with flying colors.
