This shell is loaded with the smallest steel shot most would consider useful for duck hunting. The #4 pellet is a svelte 0.14” in diameter, which is how this 3” round is able to comfortably fit 264 pieces of it. That’s more shot than you’d get out of 1-1/8 ounces of #6 lead!
Rob Roberts and Federal weren’t messing around when they gave this round a 1,400 fps muzzle velocity. That’s hot, and certain to give that massive, narrow string of shot the energy it needs to do its job right over longer distances.
