This 20 Gauge shotshell is awesome for shooting targets without poisoning the soil. Its shot is made of steel instead of lead, so it would also make a fine choice for hunting upland game in sensitive wetlands.

#7 steel shot’s range and pattern are exceptional for plowing clays into submission. Steel is less dense than lead, so a 20 Gauge’s 7/8 ounce payload contains a whopping 368 shot pellets. If you wish the 20 Gauge had a denser spread, this shell ought to make you a happy camper.

NobelSport loads this shell with their proprietary Vectan A propellant to achieve a blistering muzzle velocity of 1,378 fps. (Sounds arbitrary, but that figure looks a lot neater in metric.) Because it’s loaded hotter than the average target load, this shell provides lightweight steel with the amped up energy it needs to pulverize a target over longer distances.
