This round features a 36 grain bullet. That’s ten percent lighter than what’s standard for the 22 LR, and the round’s muzzle velocity only benefits because of it. This round’s bullet shouldn’t fly slower than 1,000 fps until it has passed 100 yards, making its trajectory plenty flat for precision plinking.

The bullet itself is plated with copper, hardening it for better assured feeding through a semi-automatic and preventing its lead core from streaking down that weapon’s bore. The bullet’s nose cavity enables it to expand as it tunnels into soft tissue. Any small creature you send one of these bullets through is going to have a serious crisis on its hands, but not for very long.
