Inexpensive and easy-shooting, CCI’s 27 grain .22 Short ammunition is an ideal tool for hunting small game, keeping varmints under control or just having a good time shooting. The brass rimfire case carries a copper plated hollow point bullet that delivers more than enough power to stop small game in its tracks.

Copper-plated bullets disperse less lead into the air when fired than non-plated lead bullets, making them much healthier to shoot. Some indoor ranges require all ammunition be plated or jacketed. Copper-plated bullets also reduce fouling on each shot; this factor combined with clean-burning gunpowder makes this CCI .22 Short load an especially clean-shooting cartridge.
