This 22 WMR cartridge by CCI has a 40 grain projectile, the very same weight as Winchester’s original design for the caliber called for back in 1959. This is a special bullet, however, in the sense that its sleek copper jacket extends to cover even its base. As the result you’ll enjoy a shooting environment less befouled by aerosolized lead, an especially invaluable thing to have while you’re practicing indoors. This bullet’s also well-suited for use in an indoor range because its flat nose does a great job of poking a succinct hole through a paper target. Its suitability for indoor use doesn’t mean a varmint is going to be any better off with one of these bullets burrowing through its flank, however -- and with its 1,875 fps muzzle velocity out of a 6” barrel, you’ll have the flat trajectory it takes to knock down even smaller and more distant pests.
