223 REM FEDERAL LE TACTICAL 55 GRAIN BONDED SP (20 ROUNDS)

Oftentimes, the police must engage a target that is taking cover. Federal makes their LE Tactical line of ammunition so cops can effectively deal with those situations when they pop up. This 223 Rem cartridge’s 55 grain bullet has got a bonded jacket and core, so it can still retain 100 percent of its weight after having penetrated plywood, 97 percent after wall board, and even 50 percent through safety glass.
Deeper penetration isn’t this bullet’s only benefit. As a soft point, its exposed core makes the bullet take on the form of a deadly mushroom, delivering a wide wound channel while simultaneously lessening the likelihood of overpenetration. The bonded jacket clings tightly to its core as it deforms as well.
This cartridge’s nickel plated brass casing creates relatively little metal-on-metal friction, promoting clean feeding and extraction in a semi-automatic firearm. Federal’s low residue primer and propellant will keep your rifle’s bore cleaner, and therefore more accurate while you’re shooting.
