This brick of .22 LR cartridges from Winchester's Super-X series delivers excellent performance for target shooting and hunting small game such as squirrels and rabbits. Each round in this box of 500 fires a 40 grain bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,255 feet per second (from a 6-inch test barrel). This puts it in the "high velocity" category of supersonic ammo. While these rounds can be fired through a suppressor and gain some noise reduction, they will produce a noticeable sonic "crack."
