This .270 Winchester ammunition from Federal's Vital-Shok series delivers cost-effective performance and great results against midsize game such as deer or boar. Each cartridge in this box of 20 fires a 130 grain Nosler Partition soft point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,060 feet per second.The Nosler Partition bullet is a dual core bullet. The heavy rear core helps the round penetrate hide and bone and promotes the mushrooming of the frontal core for maximum terminal effect.
These cartridges are loaded in Anoka, Minnesota using non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.

Posted onYou really do get what you pay for. I have used the same box of this ammo for the past 3 years in the rifles that my daughter take to Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Montana for deer hunting. I would not hesitate to use this for Elk or Moose at reasonable distances. Always a clean pass through bone, vitals, even a on a 240 lb. mule deer at 300 plus yards. We have probably harvested 8 deer with this ammo, can't say enough good things about Nosler Partition performance or accuracy. I load my own practice rounds, but hunt with these.
