This law enforcement grade cartridge is armed with the 100 grain HST jacketed hollow point. (“HST” is a brand name; it doesn’t stand for anything.) The bullet follows an accurate trajectory, and it is durable enough to pass through a wide range of common urban barriers without losing a significant percentage of its overall weight. The intact bullet thus retains the momentum it needs for effectively deep penetration in soft tissue.

The JHP’s jacket wears six long notches. These enable it to reliably split open while producing fast terminal expansion. The JHP expands even at lower velocities, and its nose cavity is specially designed to avoid jamming up with debris as it pierces wood, sheetrock or fabric.
