This is supersonic ammunition, loaded with featherweight 125 grain projectiles. The open tip offers fundamentally identical terminal performance to an FMJ, which is to say that it will not expand as it penetrates soft tissue. The open tip’s nose cavity only exists because it features a form-fitted lead core, which alongside its precision jacket, flat base and 2,185 fps muzzle velocity provides it with a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.272. Zero in at 150 yards and your trajectory won’t rise by more than 4” (assuming a 1.5” sight height). This is a bullet which stays supersonic until approximately 470 yards!

This ammo is armed with new and reloadable brass cases. They’re not shiny, but that’s only because they were heat-treated for added durability and suppleness. Winchester’s low-fouling powder and non-corrosive primers will treat any rifle to good, clean fun!
