Armscor’s taste in bullets is immaculate. They chose to deck this round out with a 178 grain Hornady Extreme Low Drag - eXpanding (ELD-X) projectile! It’s wrapped in a hyper-concentric Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket to help it maintain superior stability as its massiveness overcomes wind deflection. Its secant ogive profile and boat tail help the ELD-X hang on to more of its momentum as it screams downrange, too. But the pièce de résistance? The Heat Shield polymer tip, which features (A) a Drag Variability Reduction Technology meplat (which also reduces dispersion), and (B) exemplary resistance to deforming in response to aerodynamic friction.

The ELD-X is equipped to let loose broad expansion at long distances, and retains 85 to 90% of its mass if it hits a mark past 400 yards. If the mark is much closer than that, then the ELD-X’s jacket/core-fortifying InterLock ring will ensure no less than 50% weight retention!
