These .357 Magnum cartridges from Federal's Power-Shok series have one particularly distinctive feature: an extra-heavy 180 grain semi-jacketed hollow point bullet. The additional weight of the projectile provides enhanced penetration for better takedown power against deer, boar, and other midsize game. An excellent companion to your hunting rifle or revolver.

In order to achieve this high level of penetration, the heavy round gives up a fair bit of speed; nevertheless, it achieves a respectable muzzle velocity of 1,080 feet per second thanks to the power of the .357 Magnum cartridge.
