About This Corbon .40 Smith & Wesson Ammunition

This is 40 S&W Corbon Thunder Ranch 140 grain DPX SCHP ammo. The DPX line is designed for deeper penetration, making it ideal for self-defense and law enforcement. This ammo uses a Barnes X-Bullet that is made with a solid copper projectile to provide a controlled, uniform expansion.

These rounds fire a 140 Grain hollow point bullet that retains 100% of its weight even after shot through barriers. Each of these bullets, upon impact, peels back into four separate petals giving the Barnes-X its name. This ammo is produced using brass cases and Boxer primers.
