These are relatively "hot" loads that produce an above-average muzzle velocity of 1,150 feet per second for more effective expansion, albeit at the cost of increased recoil. As such, they're a particularly good option for full-size pistols like the Smith & Wesson M&P, Glock 22, Springfield XD, and Browning Hi-Power.These cartridges use non-corrosive Boxer primers and nickel-plated brass cases and are assembled at Remington's ammunition plant in Lonoke, Arkansas.
