This cartridge is loaded with the Match Burner: an open tip match projectile with a sleek jacket profile, thin and evenly drawn jacket, uniformly distributed lead core, and sloping boat tail base. The OTM BT’s nose cavity does not function like that of a JHP; it will not commence terminal expansion following impact. But it is narrow and aerodynamic, which alongside the Match Burner’s low-drag profile and rotational stability ensures highly consistent trajectories at long range.

This round’s 145 grain projectile will accelerate to a velocity of 2,960 fps upon reaching a 24” barrel’s muzzle. By Barnes’ measure, the bullet’s 0.350 G7 ballistic coefficient will keep it supersonic well beyond 1,600 yards.
